Recipe for Vanilla Nutmeg Sauce:
Ingredients:

2 cups almond milk
1tsp Vanilla Man Vanilla Powder
½tsp freshly ground nutmeg
6 egg yolks
⅔ cup organic sugar

Method:

Heat the milk, nutmeg & vanilla in a saucepan over medium heat, whisking occasionally to prevent sticking.
When the mixture starts to simmer, turn off the heat & set aside to let the flavours infuse for 10 minutes.
In a bowl, whisk together the egg yolks & sugar. Slowly whisk in the vanilla mixture. Pour the mixture back into the saucepan.
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly with a wooden spoon to 180 degrees F.
When the mixture becomes thick & creamy, like eggnog, quickly remove it from the heat. Pour it though a fine-meshed strainer into a jar; place the jar in ice water to cool.
Keep chilled & serve cold. Delicious with ice cream or Christmas pudding.

I prefer this vanilla powder to vanilla extract or paste, since it is much more cost effective and has no additives or solvents. I use it in my coffee, smoothies and baking. Great product!

love the vanilla powder, yet to use it for baking but i add it to my hot drinks and it's out of this world

I use this vanilla in nut milks and in baking. I looked for it because I'm on an elimination diet where I am not allowed alcohol so I can't use the 'normal' vanilla from supermarkets. But I will never go back to using anything else. The flavour is great. The only reason I haven't given it 5 stars is that it gets a bit stuck in the tube and you have to bang it about it a bit to get it out.

I love this product, but be careful with the glass it comes in, it breaks easily. We normally order it but then pour into something else immediately. Great product. Very deep vanilla flavour, great to add to a raw vegan banana smoothie or with a porridge in the morning!
