Caster sugar is prized for its fine granules and light caramel taste coming from its unprocessed nature. This unrefined sugar, made from sugarcane or beets, is produced in a way that it locks in the natural molasses of the sugar cane, which traditional white sugars lock out. Natura sugars are produced in the lush tropical soils of Mauritius in fields uncontaminated by genetically modified plants. Perfect for use in sponge cakes and shortbread.

For those of us who have reduce our sugar intakes, this product is a must have item in the pantry. Great product to use to reduce tartness in tomato sauces and other dishes. I have also used it to bake a batch of cookies using a less processed sugar - great result!
