The founder and CEO Sandra Mauricio Vuvu, is from Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) but grew up in South Africa. Her surname Vuvu means Hope in Kikongo, a language from the DRC. Sandra started Vuvu Organic Beauty in 2018 when she had breakouts and tried so many products until she decided to make her own skin remedy before starting her own range of hair and skin care products in Vuvu Organic Beauty.
