A note from our supplier: Pentylene Glycol has a zero listed hazard rating in Cosmetic Data Base and there are 23 published articles which provide interesting data and note studies done back in the 1970’s – in all of these, there was only one case listed of Dermatitis in Belgium and two cases in Cleveland, Ohio, in which the use of a topical cream containing Pentylene Glycol was suspected (not determined) to be the cause of the Dermatitis. www.ewg.org (Skin Deep Data Base) rates Pentylene Glycol as zero hazard. On www.goodguide.com it is listed as having no health concerns and is not on their list of hazardous ingredients. We use Pentylene Glycol only in our creams and lotions, which contain a higher water content and therefore need a proven strong preservative, and we consider it to be the safest and healthiest preservative currently available in the absence of a reliable natural preservative.

Loved getting this as a sample. Wonderful and light for combination/oily skin. Sometimes I find it too thin as sometimes it doesn't rub into my skin properly, but that just takes some effort!

Non oily texture on my skin. It smells wonderful. I'd recommend this for oily skin, but not problem skin like mine. At 29 I still have acne and this cream proved unable to deal with it :) Back to my derm recommended range it is! Will miss the smell and luxury of this range.

According to AcneMantra.com, this product contains 3 comedogenic ingredients which are Beta-Carotene, Cetearyl Alcohol,Squalane. Has anyone experience acne with this product? I want to buy it because my skin is really greasy and very sensitive to products

Lovely mattifying effect and lovely scent. It does not seem to be treating my problem skin as much as I would have hoped, but it definitely is not aggravating it like some products do. Great for oily skin.

I really like this product. I have very, very oily skin and I went the entire day (7am - 8pm) without stressing about my oily skin when I use this moisturiser.
