A note from our supplier: Pentylene Glycol has a zero listed hazard rating in Cosmetic Data Base and there are 23 published articles which provide interesting data and note studies done back in the 1970’s – in all of these, there was only one case listed of Dermatitis in Belgium and two cases in Cleveland, Ohio, in which the use of a topical cream containing Pentylene Glycol was suspected (not determined) to be the cause of the Dermatitis. www.ewg.org (Skin Deep Data Base) rates Pentylene Glycol as zero hazard. On www.goodguide.com it is listed as having no health concerns and is not on their list of hazardous ingredients. We use Pentylene Glycol only in our creams and lotions, which contain a higher water content and therefore need a proven strong preservative, and we consider it to be the safest and healthiest preservative currently available in the absence of a reliable natural preservative.

Although this is touted for sensitive skin, it dried out my combination, dry, sensitive and dehydrated skin, which led to itching. Im working on getting my skin hydrated, so I will not be using this until then. It smells lovely :)

I bought this as a face cream for my seven year old daughter. Glides on easily, non-greasy and suitable for sensitive skin.

I prefer light day creams as I hate feeling sticky or that the cream is 'melting off' when I sweat in summer. But I have fairly dry skin, so it's always tricky to find the balance between a light enough cream that doesn't feel sticky, and one that moisturises well enough. This cream is perfectly in the middle for me! I can mix it with a bit of base/foundation and/or my SPF day cream and it still doesn't feel too thick.

Makes my face feel a bit sticky when I put it on and smells a bit herbal, but to my surprise my face did not start to feel dry during the day. So it did its job.

This cream has a very pleasant lavender fragrance that does not linger unnecessarily on ones skin. It works well for dry, sensitive skin; it absorbs and moisturizes, and doesn make skin oily.
