About lemongrass oil:

Lemongrass oil is antibacterial and antiseptic; plus it has astringent properties, meaning it tones and tightens the skin. It has a fresh citrus fragrance that uplifts the mood.

A note about caustic soda:

Caustic soda, also known as lye or sodium hydroxide, is used to turn oil into bar soap; it is fully neutralised 72 hours after blending, leaving behind a pure, mild and safe natural bar soap. All Pure Simple castile soaps are cured for a minimum of 8 - 12 weeks before being sold.

This soap leaves my skin feeling smooth and soft. I’ve been using it for my face and body as it is suitable for acne prone skin. I highly recommend trying this soap for your face.

My skin is soft and moisturized. I am definitely going to try other Castile soaps from Pure Simple. The lemon grass smell is refreshing although I probably will buy a non perfumed / different perfumed one next time.

This is the best natural soap I purchased so far. It’s one of the few soaps I’ve used that doesn’t dry out my skin. I use it on my face and body and I don’t have to use any moisturizer after using this soap.

This is my kitchen hand and kitchen towel soap. It smells divine and so gentle on the skin. Literally after washing your hands with it feels like you washed your hands in a milk, so soft. Im addicted to lemongrass smell after my Natural Lab lemongrass shower gel. When I saw this soap had to get it and now will be my always and forever hand soap :)

I was sceptical at first but this soap has surprised me an surpassed expectation. My hair is squeaky clean without being dried out and I need to wash it less often.
