Fancy Pants Bamboo Nappy with Microfibre Insert

Fancypants reusable cloth nappies are made with a soft stylish waterproof outer fabric, lined with a plush 70% bamboo / 30% organic cotton material and come with two highly absorbent microfibre inserts. These environmentally friendly reusable cloth nappies result in less non biodegradable waste in landfills. Unlike disposables, Fancypants nappies contain no harmful absorbency chemicals and are lined with a bamboo/cotton blend so that only natural materials touch baby’s delicate skin. This means they are comfortable and healthy for your baby.

The all-in-one design is easy to use as there are no separate covers or pull ups, so changing your baby is fast and easy! Fancypants reusable cloth diapers are fully adjustable, fitting most babies from birth to potty training – saving you thousands of rand. The distinctive, open-ended pocket design means easy washing. There is no need to use your hands to separate dirty inserts from the nappy as they agitate out in the wash.

Easy to use
Fancypants have been designed with moms and dads (and grandmas and caretakers) in mind. Simply stuff the insert inside the pocket of the nappy, place under babies bum and fasten it along the waist, similar to the way you would fasten a disposable diaper. No folding, no pinning, no covers, nothing!

Fancy Pants are designed for durability. Our nappies have strong durable snaps that will withstand constant use. They are designed for lots of washing (after all they are for baby’s bottoms) and can be line or tumble dried.

Easy to Wash
We’ve made washing Fancypants nappies incredibly easy. Simply remove baby’s soiled nappy, throw any large pieces of poo in the toilet and toss the dirty nappy into a dry bucket with a lid. When it’s laundry time, dump the contents of the bucket into the washing machine and relax because here comes the fancy part - the inserts actually agitate out of the pocket during the washing cycle so no need for you to remove them in advance and touch anything dirty!

Washing & Care
We’ve drastically reduced the “yuck factor” associated with real nappies. Our double opening pocket means you don’t have to touch any poo. Simply remove baby’s soiled nappy, throw any large or solid pieces of poo into the toilet and toss the dirty nappy into a dry bucket with a lid. When its laundry time, dump the contents of the bucket into the washing machine, add your soapnuts wash bag or detergent and put the washing machine on a cold water rinse cycle or wash. This step will remove the ‘yucky’ stuff. Then wash the nappies with the soapnuts or detergent at 30-40 degrees on a normal cycle. You can add an extra rinse if you like to ensure no detergent builds up on the nappies or inserts. The specially designed inserts will agitate out of the pocket during the washing cycle so no need for you to remove them beforehand. Then simply hang the nappies and inserts out to dry in the sun or tumble dry on a low setting and grab yourself a cup of coffee!

Fancy Pants reusable cloth nappies are made to last, but the way in which you wash and care for your nappies will ensure they perform well for longer. Remember:
 

• Fancypants reusable cloth nappies need to be washed one time prior to first use.
• Please do not use bum cream as it will interfere with the absorbency of the nappy. If your baby needs bum cream, then place a liner in the nappy to protect it from the cream.
• There is no need to soak the nappies in any type of sterilizing solution as this will interfere with the absorbency of the nappy.
