A note from our supplier: Pentylene Glycol has a zero listed hazard rating in Cosmetic Data Base and there are 23 published articles which provide interesting data and note studies done back in the 1970’s – in all of these, there was only one case listed of Dermatitis in Belgium and two cases in Cleveland, Ohio, in which the use of a topical cream containing Pentylene Glycol was suspected (not determined) to be the cause of the Dermatitis. www.ewg.org (Skin Deep Data Base) rates Pentylene Glycol as zero hazard. On www.goodguide.com it is listed as having no health concerns and is not on their list of hazardous ingredients. We use Pentylene Glycol only in our creams and lotions, which contain a higher water content and therefore need a proven strong preservative, and we consider it to be the safest and healthiest preservative currently available in the absence of a reliable natural preservative.

I love the smell of the product even though its not too overpowering. It leaves my skin feeling lovely not dry or oily, just perfect

I have tried many VG creams and this is by far my favourite. I used it as a day and night cream. It is perfect. I have combination skin but suffer from severe dehydration and struggle to find products that address the dehydration without making my skin oily. This is it. Unfortunately I have tons of moisturizers to get through before I can come back to this but when I'm done I will come back to this.

I've been wanting to try this night cream for a while now, and I'm so glad I did! It goes on nice and rich, but sinks in really quickly - which is perfect for combination skin.

I use many of the VG products and this is one of my favourites for my combination skin: I've been using it for a few years now. Absorbs well, keeps my skin soft and moisturised all day and works very well along with the VG facial serums.

I didn't realise that this was for oily skin when I bought it as I have drier skin. But even still it works well and doesn't dry out my skin at all. I am keen to try other products from this brand.
