Our bees forage around Hopefield, where no commercial farming is in the immediate vicinity, from over 600 different indigenous Fynbos species. Our bees are not used for commercial pollination and do not get exposed to these chemicals. Therefore, our honey, beeswax and propolis are all 100% organic, badger-friendly and we NEVER harvest royal jelly or pollen.

We strive to support our local suppliers, so our carrier and essential oil ingredients are bought from reputable local companies. As of 1 July 2020 our packaging will all be in either glass or PET containers, at Simply Bee we strive to support eco friendly packaging and keep our environment safe.

Natural ingredients are profoundly effective. They stimulate your senses, are better for the environment and beneficial to your overall well-being. Natural ingredients nurture the skin with nutrients that are familiar to the body’s chemistry, thus working in harmony with the body. We believe they must come from renewable natural resources.

To Helena it is of utmost importance to control the processing of the ingredients and the manufacturing of the products. All processes, including distillation, condensation, extraction, steaming, and hydrolysis are kept to a minimum. Helena's goal is to keep natural ingredients natural, this ensures full retention of their beneficial properties.
