More about lacto-fermentation: Modern methods of food preservation results in “deadened”, denatured foods with lower nutritional value. Lacto-fermentation on the other hand, actually enhances the nutritional quality of the food. Lactobacillus bacteria convert lactose and sugars into lactic acid, helping to make the nutrients in the cultured food more readily available to the body. Lactic acid is also an effective natural preservative.

I have to confess that I've eaten this kraut with a fork out of the jar! It's my husband's new favourite. I would like it a little crunchier but the flavour is great and not overpowering.
If the kraut I ate growing up tasted like this I wouldn't have complained when it was served. This one is great. I've tried others, and they are fine, but the flavour just isn't as good as this one.
I absolutely love this product. Tastiest Sauerkraut ever. I make my own but it's never been this good. The flavours are amazing. Thank you
Quite tart on its own... added to salads or sandwiches is a better way to eat it. Also I'm not too fond of fennel so I do not really enjoy the fennel flavour. Will be trying another type when this one is done to be able to compare better....
I wouldn't necessarily eat it on its own, but it is a great addition to any sandwich. I even add it to my meals at times, which just further enhances the flavours. Love the added spices. Will last for a while as well so good value.
