


Niaouli is a small tree with papery bark. The oil is steam distilled from the leaves and twigs of this species. Niaouli is fresh and camphoraceous. Being antiseptic and healing, it is useful for boils and cuts and is well-suited to skin care applications on account of its being non-irritant. Its expectorant properties make it well indicated for respiratory tract infections. .
