Usually a big fan of this brand and it is on regular rotation in my morning smoothies. I would estimate that I have bought the product at least 10 - 15 times (from FTN and Dischem) so I am very familiar with it.
Unfortunately my last order (which happened to be from FTN) was VERY different from the rest. The consistency, the look of the powder and the flavour all suggest to me that it has been cut with something different than previously. I am super sad to see this as I loved this product. I fear that they might have changed their formulation and now I am worried about ordering it again as it is not a cheap product and I do not want to waste a purchase as I strongly dislike this new formulation.
Wondering if anyone else has noticed a change or if I perhaps received a 'bad batch'?
Wonderful smell and taste. Bought it for my mother and she loves it. She says her energy lasts a bit longer than usual and she feels better.
I am straight up a chocoholic! Superfoods Cocoa has given me reason to have chocolate every day without feeling an ounce of guilt. This cocoa froms the starting block for my day. I kick off with green smoothies turned into deliciously magic chocolate smoothies for an on the run meal or snack, a couple of cubes of my home made vegan chocolates after dinner (daily) and cup of hot cocoa to bid the day farewell then the antioxidants replenish my body whist I sleep - 24/7 Healthy Heaven.
Love this product! Make the best thick & creamy nice-cream by adding 1 - 2 heaped tsp cacao powder, dash of vanilla powder (opt), dash Himalayan salt, 1 tsp nut butter (cashew is my favorite!), cinnamon and 3 frozen bananas, chopped ~ add all this to yr food processor & process until its ice-cream! Heavenly! Enjoy
Excellent and delicious in smoothies. I have also used it to make chocolate, which worked well, although I personally am not fond of the taste by itself (but I don't eat regular chocolates either).
