Directions:
- Wash hair as normal and rinse thoroughly
- Instead of conditioner, Pure Simple recommends a vinegar rinse to restore natural pH balance to hair, and scalp
- Use 1 tablespoon of vinegar to 1 cup of water (Use 2 tablespoons, in 2 cups of water for very long hair)
- Rinse finally with water to remove the vinegar rinse
- Dry, and style as normal
Vinegar rinse tips:
- Apple cider vinegar is a good all round choice, suitable for all hair types
- Dark, grape vinegar is excellent for darker, brunette hair
- Lemon juice is a recommended alternative to vinegar for fair blonde hair

- When using soap based shampoos – it is a soap and soap stings if it gets in your eyes

Give it a miss. Made my hair oily even with trying it for 2 weeks with a vinegar rinse. My hair also started falling after using the product. I tried a Lush bar afterwards and my hair stopped falling and it’s shiny and bouncy. Rather splurge on the Lush bar in my opinion
This is not the product for you if you have fine hair. I want to like this product so badly because it smells so good and is so eco friendly. My issue with it is that it is a bit of PT with having to do the vinegar rinse on top of it all. Even with the vinegar rinse, my hair was left oily and stringy. This is a good product if you have dry hair but my experience has been sad.
Love this shampoo! First time using a shampoo bar and worked well for my hair! I have quite dry hair so it put a good amount of oils back in.
Yum Yum Yum! I have dreads but am a firm believer in washing them ;-) Great shampoo, smells lovely and does the job. Also a lot cheaper than other shampoo bars out there.
Harsher and more drying. Hair needed conditioner straight afterwards which Is not the case with the Coventry brand. Hair didnt curl as well.
