*Ingredient Notice: Sodium benzoate is listed as a nasty in our pocket guide when used for food, so why do we allow it in some of our cosmetics and cleaning products? Firstly, the amount of sodium benzoate used in cosmetics or cleaning products is much smaller than that used in food as a preservative. Furthermore, the sodium benzoate molecules are too large to be absorbed by your skin. This preservative has been allowed by ECOCERT, the Soil Association and BDIH; it has been ranked by the EWG as having a low risk of 1. However, there are reports circulating online that warn against usage of sodium benzoate even in cosmetics. We believe it is still one of the safer preservatives, but as always, we wanted you to fully informed and empowered. The choice is yours to make.

Love that it's pure. Despite it being quite a runny formula and is not thick and concentrated at all, it does the job really well. Suppose sometimes you cannot have it all. I'd rather use it with confidence knowing that it doesn't contain any of the nasties and fillers or binders, than having a thick, concentrated formula that isn't organic. It doesn't dry out my hands either.

First time buying and will buy a gain. Bought to fill up some of my Earthsap refills as they do not appear to want to make a large size. Good value and smells fine.

Great smell, not harsh on my hands, it is hygienic, so great for the kids dirty mits, my favourite hand soap in a long while.

I use this in my kitchen where I wash my hands 50 times a day and my hands feel great afterwards. I bought the large bottle and decant into smaller ones. Real value for money.

We like the large 1 litre bottle that we can decant into smaller ones. The smell is great, but not overpowering and it washes off anything from oil and soot to garden dirt.
