This product is amazing! My energy levels are higher, so its especially helpful for me dealing with autoimmune disease. This prenatal WILL make you lose weight!! Like any other prenatal it does make a person nauseas. And the big tablets are unpleasant to drink. But knowing Metagenics, its definitely a brilliant product! Would be even better if it could be chewable gummy bears.
Love this combo of vits and oils. The fish oil is a no-go on an empty tummy and can lead to nausea.
I'm over 40 and pregnant with my first baby. The dietician recommended that I take this prenatal vitamin combination to assist with getting the optimum nutrition while pregnant. I was hesitant due to the price, but decided to try it for a month. WOW! What a MAJOR difference in energy and general sense of well being. The prenatal vitamins are excellent value for money and worth every cent :)
I am 5 months pregnant and I still can't keep these pills down. I originally thought it was because I was in my 1st trimester and that throwing up after eating anything was sort of part of the process... but after trying to take them again in my 2nd trimester with an almost instant need to throw up (fish oil does not taste great coming back up), I am convinced the reviews from ladies on the Metagenics website are true. Unfortunately, a very expensive lesson learnt.
I could not stomach these after two months of being pregnant. I am sure it is a great product but the smell just made me gag every time I had to take them. This made me not want to take them so I decided to switch to something else.
