Kalyan Neroli & Patchouli Cleansing Bar

Most of the reviews for this product is positive except for one. I just want to confirm with what Louis3 stated in that yes this soap has the potential to burn ones skin, so be careful. It might be an allergic reaction to an ingredient or just that my skin is very sensitive to this product, but it definitely burned my skin as well.

Upon opening this product, I immediately noticed the refreshing and distinctive spicy aroma of Neroli with the slightly sweet, intoxicating scent of Patchouli, and knew that this was a great purchase. This soup is spectacular! Neroli oil is said to not only cure stretch marks and broken capillaries on the skin, but also assist in the prevention of unsightly scarring. Its action of stimulating cell growth and cellular activity helps it to rejuvenate and regenerate the skin, not to mention the benefits of patchouli itself. Thank you, Kalyan, and thank you, Faithful To Nature.

The only reason i gave it 2 stars is because the scent was basically non-existent, and for me the scent of a body product is very important, it's a huge part of the enjoyment of using it. The soap itself is nice to use, but it smelled almost like an unscented natural soap, so i'm very disappointed - i won't try another kalyan soap unfortunately in fear of getting another scentless soap.

Smells divine (hubby is grateful that the scent isn't too floral), gentle on the skin, and lasts long (when kept on well drained soap dish).

Soap has always been an issue for me and I usually go for the same old same old. However, of the two I usually buy, I know the makers of the one test on animals. I decided to take a chance and have been very pleasantly surprized! I love it and I'll be back for more. Maybe I'll even be a little adventurous and try some other flavours...
