A note from our supplier: Pentylene Glycol has a zero listed hazard rating in Cosmetic Data Base and there are 23 published articles which provide interesting data and note studies done back in the 1970’s – in all of these, there was only one case listed of Dermatitis in Belgium and two cases in Cleveland, Ohio, in which the use of a topical cream containing Pentylene Glycol was suspected (not determined) to be the cause of the Dermatitis. www.ewg.org (Skin Deep Data Base) rates Pentylene Glycol as zero hazard. On www.goodguide.com it is listed as having no health concerns and is not on their list of hazardous ingredients. We use Pentylene Glycol only in our creams and lotions, which contain a higher water content and therefore need a proven strong preservative, and we consider it to be the safest and healthiest preservative currently available in the absence of a reliable natural preservative.

Beautiful scent. Was looking for a natural deodorant to use in summer as most make me sweat like a pig which is just so stressful on its own thus making me sweat even more. I have been using for about two weeks now and I haven't once had to reapply it and I live in KZN where temperatures have gone up to 34° just this week. It's that good.

It is double the price of other natural roll on's on this site and my question would be if the nasties are so bad that I am prepared to pay this. I don't have the answer, but can confirm that the product is much better and does seem to work for longer and more lasting. I am a sweater of note and the other cheaper products on this site does not work for me and I have tried it for two years and am giving up. This will be my last try with a natural roll on.

Recently tried this roll on after being nauseated - literally - by commercial brands. They leave a sour odour after a few hours ... Victorian Gardens sandalwood and bergamot seem a nice combination for me, with good lasting power

I used this for various periods while trying diff natural deodorants. It is fairly good in that it has a strong nice smell when applied and doesn’t cause irritation, but I found the smell didn’t last that long and even with reapplication I would end up smelling sweaty.

Works for me. Haven't had to reapply during the day, although the scent is a bit strong for my liking. Will definitely give the other scents from this brand a try.
