Golden oil infused with locally grown, sun-ripened chillies. Banhoek Chilli Oil was established in 2017 on a farm that is nestled deep in the Cape Winelands. We love this chilli oil because of the care that has been poured into each bottle. Each batch is handcrafted and made from 100% local ingredients. The Bird’s Eye chillies are grown in the Swartland where they are picked, sun-dried & hand-crushed. From here, the chillies are paired with golden, GMO-free canola oil that is grown in the Overberg region. We back this local business because they have gone the extra mile to minimize their waste and they have various recycling initiatives on site.

Care Instructions:
- Store in a cool, dark place.
Did you know? If the chillies were not removed from the oil they would continue to alter its flavour. As Banhoek Chillie Oil takes the consistency of their flavours very seriously, the chillies are removed from the oil once the infusion has reached optimal flavour & heat. Once the chillies are removed, the oil goes through a 16 stage filtration process. This creates a clear, yet wonderfully flavoured oil.
