Biotree Urn

Saying goodbye to a loved one is never easy, and traditionally, many cultures have buried their dead in the ground, as a way of giving the body back to the earth. However, as our human society expands, space becomes limited, making burial an expensive and space-consuming tradition. Enter the Biotree. This urn combines all natural and biodegradable materials and the seed of a local tree. With some water and love, and the cremated ashes of your dear departed,  giving their life back to the earth, in the form of a beautiful tree.

• You choose the seed of the tree that you would like, and water it. Once it sprouts, add the cremated remains to the base section, and plant the whole thing into the ground. Three seeds are nicluded with your Urn - a coral tree / lucky bean tree; a Wisteria / Elephants wood and an Umbrella Thorn Acacia
• Watch your seed grow into a big, beautiful tree that produces oxygen and traps carbon dioxide, neutralizing the impact of making the urn, and giving back to the environment
• Plant the tree somewhere special where you like to remember your loved one

Biotree purchase a tree for every unit sold in addition to the tree that your urn will grow into, which is planted by Greenpop in South Africa’s southernmost indigenous forest, the beautiful Platbos Forest.

Did you know that each Biotree Urn wil produce about 117 kgs of oxygen per year, and removes about 21 kgs of carbon dioxide annually.

Directions:

• Choose your seed (three tree seed types included with each Biotree) 
• Water it and watch it sprout
• Once sprouted, place cremated ashes into the special container below the tree
• Plant the whole thing somewhere special and watch it grow
