I love Hey Gorgeous products. Previously I ordered the Hey Gorgeous Aloe Olive Replenishing Shampoo which I loved but thought I would try all the shampoos available. This leaves my hair feeling clean and light, and not weighed down like other natural hair care products out there.
Disappointing in that it dried out my hair and and my scalp became very dry as well. Will not buy again
Really loved this shampoo, my long, dry, curly/ wavy hair felt hydrated and I had less frizz. I needed to use quite a bit of product though, but it still managed to last a while. It doesn't lather much but I found that applying small amounts to one small section at a time and then lathering that section helps.
I'm a bit conflicted regarding this shampoo and conditioner combo... The shampoo is truly amazing, my hair felt soft and squeaky clean after use. The conditioner is also a lovely product - maybe slightly less moisturizing than my long and dry hair needs, but it does the job quite well.
On the other hand, I had a terrible reaction to the product on my skin?? Where my hair rests after application while in the shower (shoulders, neck and back) I have been breaking out in little pimples! What a shock, I had to think hard what the cause could be, and as this is the only new product I've tried, I'm going to have to discontinue use...
Loved the smell & it lathers very nicely. Initially it was perfect - left my (usually dry) hair soft and hydrated with no need even to condition. However, the more I use it the dryer my hair feels and I've needed to start using my old faithful Victorian Garden Vanilla Argan Oil conditioner again. Not sure if my hair just got used to the shampoo or not. Regardless, still a worthwhile purchase.
