I love this. I like the smell, though it is fairly strong, so may not be everyone's cup of tea. It detangles my daughters fine, knotty fair better than anything else we have tried. The downside is that it does not last long. So for the price, it is not very reasonable.
Works so well to soften and detangle and has a gorgeous smell, but it does not go far and therefore, is not cost effective. A couple washes in and I have already made a sizeable dent in my bottle. So I had to mark it down for that.
As part of my journey to no poo, I have been looking for a healthy in-between alternative to the chemical compounds available. I found the Hemporium shampoo and conditioner and have tried them both. I have found this shampoo to be very effective, but it the conditioner is the one that really nourishes my hair. A few squirts in the palm of my hand is all that is required, to cover my hair all over and it leaves it feeling soft and tangle free. This range of shampoo and conditioner, has resulted in my hair growing faster and less hair loss than before.
After this formula was thickened up I loved this conditioner but its now leaving a residue. This might be the change in water due to the drought in CT. Its just not working for me anymore which is a pity because it has great ingredients (2 stars for the ingredients)
I do like the smell and feel of this conditioner and the fact that it is made from hemp! But I have long, thick hair and I have to use too much of it. I finished the bottle quite quickly. I guess it would be great if you have slightly finer, shorter hair.
