With absorbent cornstarch, detoxifying bentonite clay, and protective beeswax, The Apothecary’s cream deodorants provide delicate underarm skin with gentle but effective care.
The essential oils in this rosy formula add a lovely soft fragrance, and have special benefits for your skin as well.
Rose oil prevents dryness, redness and irritation. It’s a great source of vitamin C, and is also naturally antibacterial.
Rose geranium oil is a great natural deodoriser with a pleasant floral smell. It also helps to minimise inflammation.

Although it is grainy when you touch it, once it is rubbed on you don't feel the graininess and the smell is lovely. It has worked really well for me as all other deodorants (even organic ones), cause my skin to go red at times whereas this one never has. I rated it 4 out of 5 as I haven't found out yet how long it lasts in the heat of summer.

This product is probably a good choice if you want to go plastic-free. I found that it works pretty well on some days and warmer days not so much. The first time I used it the bottle was warm and the product melted, but it worked a lot better than when it hardened. Not sure why that is, perhaps I applied more as a liquid. I don't like the grainy, sand-like feel it creates on application. I wish there was a refill service because buying a glass jar every time can get quite pricy.

Finally - a deo which keeps me decent during an average day. It smells lovely, like roses, and it lasts. After application, I put the residue on my fingers onto areas where I'd put perfume. Smells great all day. Very subtle. I don't think it will last a 5km run in the sun, but it will last the 9-5 workday.

Yes it takes some getting used to - the texture is a bit grainy. But other than that I love it. I do yoga and I'm not smelly afterwards. It smells nice and so far I haven't noticed any staining on my clothes (even the white ones).
